[Xen-bugs] [Bug 432] New: Hyperthreading enabled causes Xen 3.0 to be un
http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=432
Summary: Hyperthreading enabled causes Xen 3.0 to be unstable
Product: Xen
Version: unstable
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux-2.6
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: Hypervisor
AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: ray_cole@xxxxxxx
Using pull from hg as of this morning (12/5/2005).
If I enable hyperthreading on my machine then Xen gets into trouble within
minutes of starting up user domains. With hyperthreading disabled it ran for
several hours with no problem.
Machine is a Dell Optplex GX280 with 2G of memory.
I get the following on the screen when it hangs:
