Anyone seeing this issue, can you check which timer is selected?  You can get
this value by running:

% xm dmesg | grep -i "platform timer"
(XEN) Platform timer is 1.193MHz PIT

I've not seen this when either HPET or Cyclone timer is used, only PIT.
