Summary: x86_32 - changing domain numbers after domain crash
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Guest-OS
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: stefanb@xxxxxxxxxx

The source of the Xen tree is up to changeset 7150:9d047fb99e38.
The following user domain is started with only 32MB, which used to work until a
few days ago. If started with 64MB the following does not occur. However, the
side effects of the crashing domain are worth investigating, such as for example
the changing Id number.

Using config file "/etc/xen/tpmuser-1".
Started domain TPMUserDomain1
Linux version 2.6.12-xenU (root@passau) (gcc version 3.4.4 20050721 (Red Hat

<0>Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

There are no other processes running in domain 0. Only one shell is used and
repeatedly typing 'xm list' shows the following results - with several hours in
between. Note that the Id of the domains is changing. There have been other
domains started previously (and killed) which cause the high Id numbers for the
two user domains.
