xen-api
Hi all,
I am using xen 3.1 on Fedora 8 (Installed using RPM's). I want to create
a new Storage Repository (SR) according to the kb, I need to do
following in order to create and attach new SR,
*
# sm create /dev/sdb5**
** # xe host-sr-set -u root sr-id=/rep_uuid/ active=true
** # sm attach <rep_uuid> none
*I neither found sm nor xe on my installation (These are available with
xen server installation I guess.....) so how to go about creating a SR
with my current installation? However there is an interesting thing
happening if I try to retrieve information about the SR's from xen api
with xen_sr_get_all()
I get two objects with,
Type: local
Description: Traditional Local Storage Repo
Type: qcow_file
Description: Xend QCoW Storage Repository
also I get no PBD object on calling xen_sr_get_pbds() ?
*
*Can anyone please explain me how this SR things work?
Regards
Chetan
