Yes, I tried, but after changing the host IP,  XE stopped being able to contact the Xen Server process to use the host-management-reconfigure-ip or pool-emergency-reset-master.  I think I have it running again now... I found in the /etc/xensource files where the Master IP was... I updated that, restarted the process and it reconnected.  Not sure if its truly fixed, but so far seems to be working.

Did you try 'xe pool-emergency-reset-master' as George suggested?

Any way to get recontrol over the slave?  Or am I screwed?
