Greetings all!
XCCS ver 0.5.4 is hot off the press and available for download!

The big news for 0.5.4 is the introduction of the friend and unfriend features. Simply put, 2 virtual machines that are friended will be both run on the same XCP physical host (ideal for virtual machines that need a high capacity, low latency connection between them). 2 virtual machines that are unfriended will never been run on the same XCP physical host. This allows for fault tolerance, so that a failure of one XCP host cannot take out an entire customer's service (I'll have an article going up soon on unfriending and fault tolerance with XCP).

XCCS's start-vm, migrate-vm, and load-balancer all support unfriending in this release. Friending is currently incomplete until 0.5.5 .

Other items are a fairly significant change in user interface appearance, several bug fixes, and changes made to accommodate certain browser issues.

As always, Xen Cloud Control System is available from http://www.xencloudcontrol.com !

Xen Cloud Control System, version 0.5.4 (final)
Release Notes

Bug fixes:

vm-param-set doesn't correctly deal with setting a dependency on a VM
if the depending VM has a name label with spaces. Add missing quotes.

user-add security check doesn't allow the first user to be added when
user.cfg is empty. Corrected user-add and user-add-form to not
security check when user.cfg is empty.

Some Internet Explorer versions do not display properly when DOCTYPE
is not specified. Added DOCTYPE tag to all scripts.

Add VM configuration options for friend and unfriend.

Add expirimental support for unfriend feature.

Only one friend and one unfriend can be added to a VM.

Friend feature not fully implemented.
