I'm running Xen 4.0.0 on openSuSE 11.3, and I'm having issues with hotplug
scripts not working correctly. If I create a domU, I can start it correctly
exactly once - if it shuts down or restarts, I can no longer start it, and I
get the error message:

Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.

If I reboot dom0, I can boot the domU, again, exactly once, and then I cannot
start it anymore. If I look at ifconfig, xenstore, etc., it seems that the
hotplug scripts are not cleaning things up correctly when the domU shuts down
the first time - vif1.0 remains up, connected to my bridge, and available in
both ifconfig and xenstore. If I do some debugging on udev and the hotplug
scripts, I see that the vif-bridge script is actually not being called at all
when the domU shuts down. Can anyone offer any advice? I've search and looked
at some of the archives, but none of them seems to match this situation.

Thanks,
Nick
