Disabling the kernel's CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED option
does allow kernel to boot under Xen 4.0.1
Might be debian issue.

Boris.

I've tried to build 2.6.34 xenified kernel via xen-patches-2.6.34-1.tar.bz2 with each one
of three .configs  files providing at links above.
Attempt to load kernel 2.6.34 been built under Xen 4.0.1-rc4 ( Xen 4.1-unstable (tip CS)
results Dom0 loading hangs with the last message sent to console :-

udevd-work[3374]: error opening ATTR { /sys/class/sound/controlC0/../uevent}
for writing: No such file or directory.

Boris.
