I've an Intel DQ35MP and It's a great mobo with VT-d support, 4 ddr2 slots, and mATX form factor.

Javier.

Yeah, I have seen it.
It's great, but it's not available where I live (Hungary, Europe),
and I can not even find a single instance of them at european Ebay sites.
(The same goes for DQ35JO.)

I suspect these have been phased out from these markets.
DQ45CB seems to be the only one still available.

So, I will go with either that, of the Q45M from Foxconn, which I can get from from USA, via Ebay.
(16GB or ram does not hurt, when one runs 7 or 8 domains.)

Thank you anyway:

Hi,

As it has been brought to my attention (by several parties), my current
MB does not support VT-d.
Since I don't feel like purchasing a brand new system, I have searched
for replacement MB-s
that would fit into my existing uATX case, support my C2D CPU, and
support at least 4x2GB ram.

I have narrowed it down to the following four models:

   SUPERMICRO MBD-C2SBM-Q-O (Q35 chipset)
   Intel BOX DQ45CB (Q45 chipset)
   Foxconn Q45M    (Q45 chipset)
   Asus P5QL-VM DO (B43 chipset)

I consider going with the Intel board, since it's explicitly mentioned
in the xen wiki to work.
The Supermicros's DOCS mention VT-D to work, but where I live,
it costs twice the cost of the intel board, so it's out of budget.

So the only challenger of the intel board is the Foxconn one, which
supports 16GB ram,
instead of the 8GB of the Intel.

(The ASUS one does this, too, but I tend to avoid it when selecting
workstation/server-grade HW.)

What do you suggest?

Thank you for your help:
