If it's possible i would like to add to section:-

Tutorials to install Xen 4.0 Ubuntu 10.04: http://bderzhavets.wordpress.com/2010/04/24/set-up-ubuntu-10-04-server-pv-domu-at-xen-4-0-dom0-pvops-2-6-32-10-kernel-dom0-on-top-of-ubuntu-10-04-server/

One more blog entry :-

Downgrading  libvirt/virsh/virt-manager/virt-install to 0.7.0 at Xen 4.0 Dom0 (2.6.32.12 pvops kernel ) on top of Ubuntu 10.04 Server

http://bderzhavets.wordpress.com/2010/05/06/hacking-downgrading-to-libvirt-0-7-0-libvirtvirshvirt-managervirt-install-at-xen-4-0-dom0-2-6-32-12-pvops-kernel-on-top-of-ubuntu-10-04-server/

Having libvirt ,virsh, virtinst,python-virtinst ,virt-viewer,virt-manager  working with Xen 4.0
is important for end-users , what makes F12 so attractive for Xen deployment.

Hackery above is not perfect ( virsh list gives some issues when reading xenstore) , however virt-install creates HVM and PV guests  , virt-manager allows domain management local and remote. I have positive ( obviously limited) experience in testing
downgrade.

Boris
P.S. Actually, Libvirt (0.7.5) on 10.04 generates virsh completely failing to read info from xenstore.
