You have to use bcdedit from the command prompt to add nogplpv to LOADOPTIONS, 
I believe.  Should be something like:
bcdedit -set loadoptions nogplpv

You may also have to specify the boot instance you want this for - otherwise it 
will disable it for the current instance.
