Thank you Vern, Dave for your replies. Basically I want to setup a test
bed where XCP hosts would have a common storage system to try out
various XCP features like live migration. Since this is purely
experimental, I wanted to put all components of the architecture
distributed over just 3 physical systems (ie 3 XCP hosts). I like your
suggestion about having iscsitarget into a VM.

Vern is right -- XCP is supposed to be a minimal 'platform', optimized
for hosting VMs. In the long term we hope to shrink dom0 and put lots
more stuff into helper VMs.
Could you explain what you need the iscsi target for? One possibility is
to put the iscsi target into a VM.
