I'm running on Debian stable kernel 2.6.26 and xen 3.2.1, which is the latest kernel-hypervisor pair that's working: a 3.4 kernel will perform an infinit reboot loop, known bug according to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=559175, so upgrading xen isn't an option.

So for running Debian stable gplpv-ed I'd be glad to see the CDROM gplpv issue fixed. Is there a chance?
