If i try "xm save vm-test7 /tmp/test7_save" , that just hangs.

any ideas?

guest config has RTC and RTC_CLASS off, so, there should not be a rtc_cmos
device... However, during boot, i do see "platform rtc_cmos: registered
platform RTC device (no PNP device found)" odd...

did i configure my guest or host kernel incorrectly? how should i configure
RTC on host/guest?

I'm using xen 3.4.1 on 2.6.31-r4 with the gentoo xen-patches from the google
code site.

the guest mentions:
--------------------------
PM: Device rtc_cmos failed to suspend late: error -22
[  145.119506] dpm_suspend_noirq() failed: -22
[  145.119509] Xen suspend failed (-22)

xend.log has:
-------------------
[2009-10-27 10:28:07 7411] DEBUG (XendCheckpoint:110)
[xc_save]: /usr/lib64/xen/bin/xc_save 52 20 0 0 0

(and nothing else)
