Default network-bridge should work on RHEL/Centos.

On some cases (like a Broadcom tg3 that I have) the problem is that
the NIC hardware or firmware doesn't support bridging properly. I had
to upgrade its firmware to get it working correctly.

I suggest you check for NIC firmware upgrade, or try another NIC. Even
onboard NIC usually works well.
