Thread-topic: [Xen-users] Running Xen on a Xen guest
Ian:

I know that the Clarkson University team did this for the USENIX Xen training.
It allowed for the creation of Xen guests for people at the training to
leverage. I can get more info for you from Todd Deshane if you need.

Curious, why would people want to do this anyway?

This question has been asked before and yes, you can run Xen within Xen.

>From Xen Commonly Asked Questions Guide
(http://www.xen.org/files/Support/XenUsersCommonlyAskedQuestions.pdf):

Nested Xen
Q (D1.0): Can I run Xen within Xen?
A (D1.0): Yes, You can install Xen on the base system, create a HVM
domain, and install Xen in that
guest domain. Note that the inner Xen system will not (yet) support HVM
again.

Hey everybody, I was just curious, if it's possible to install xen on
a xen guest server?

Has anybody achieved this? Is it even possible?

Thanks
