Hi all,

I had some trouble with Xen 3.3.0 so I decided to compile and test the latest available 3.3-testing branch (Mercurial's changeset 18486:c05a663d3b24). With this code I tried to install W2k8 64bit as a HVM domain. The domU starts and boots from the CD (image) and the installer says "Windows is loading files..." but as soon as the progress bar reaches the right end the installer hangs. xentop says that the DomU with the hanging installer consumes one CPU completely.

I tried with an Debian 4.0r5 AMD64 and W2k8 32 bit image without problems. So maybe I have encountered a x86_64 problem. What details are needed to troubleshoot this problem?

Hardware:

Below are some command outputs.

Thanks + kind regards,

Stephan
