I am looking to scope a server running under XEN hypervisor,  from a network perspective.
The virtual machines will be Linux Apache web servers with fairly high network trafic receiving small requests.

My questions are:
How many of these virtual machine I can/Should I bind to a single physical Gigabit NIC ?
Will it be possible to fully use the gigabit interface ?
Up to how many gigabits NIC XEN performance starts to decrease ?
Is there a "preferred" NICs brand to use with XEN ?

Thanks in advance for helping
