[Xen-users] Duplicate Domain Issue
All,
Just upgraded one of my Dom0's to vmlinuz-2.6.18-92.1.10.el5xen in
CentOS 5.2 (I'm running Xen-3.2.gz as the boot from Xen.org). Since I'd
done a kernel update on the DomU's as well, I did a reboot of the Xen box.
All the domains saved their states as I would have expected, but when
the box came back up, one of the domains had a duplicate instance
running. I rebooted this through the console and it came up with only
one domain, but the file system was corrupted and ended up running fsck
manually to correct. This in addition to a mysql replication issue that
also needed to a re sync.
Has anyone else run into this, or is it a "me" anomaly?
I started running the 3.2 boot image from xen.org on the advice of
another user awhile back, because the xen boot that was coming from
CentOS was lagging behind. If everyone thinks the new CentOS kernel
image is stable, I can always revert to that.
Thanks in advance!
