Hi all,
I'm trying to run windows 2003 under xen and having a couple of issues.
It was a vmware image which I have converted to a xen image using the
process described here:
http://ian.blenke.com/vmware/vmdk/xen/hvm/qemu/vmware_to_xen_hvm.html
I've got it to start up and 'xm list' shows it running.
Doing an xm dmesg I get this:
(XEN) (GUEST: 42) HVM Loader

(I don't really have 42 guests running, that's just the number of times
I've tried to get this thing going :P).
What does that error mean? I can't find anything through searching.
I can connect to the vnc server but the screen is completely black.. I
can't get anything else to show up.
My config looks like:
kernel = '/usr/lib/xen-3.0.3-1/boot/hvmloader'
builder="hvm"
device_model="/usr/lib/xen-3.0.3-1/bin/qemu-dm"
memory = '2048'
shadow_memory=16
boot="c"
localtime=1
vcpus=1
pae=0
acpi=0
apic=0
sdl=0
vnc=1
disk = [
'phy:/path/to/disk1.img,ioemu:hda,w',
'phy:/path/to/disk2.img,ioemu:hdb,w'
]
name = 'example.com'
vif = [ 'type=ioemu, ip=192.168.0.101, bridge=xenbr0' ]
on_poweroff = 'destroy'
on_reboot = 'restart'
on_crash = 'restart'
The base system is debian etch, running xen-3.0.3 (the packages debian
provides).
Thanks for any help that can be provided.
