Hi Zoran,
I've experienced the same problem under Ubuntu with Xen 3.1. Try to add the following entry to your domU configuration: 

extra = "TERM=xterm xencons=tty console=tty1"

Hope this helps. I wasted the whole last day by searching for a solution ;)
