[cut]

what I tried until now is basically to create a "minimal" domU and then to extract into its disk the contents of my physical machine disk (plus the needed changes to fstab and similars), but at the restart the eth0 interface doesn't came up

my fault,

that procedure works fine,

the problem was caused by two lines into /etc/iftab

eth0 mac 00:18:8b:f9:0a:50 arp 1
eth1 mac 00:18:8b:f9:0a:51 arp 1

which were enforcing wrong values on the eth0 interface
