You need an expanded tree to install a pravirtualized guest. You can't install from ISO. See details at

ISO image. Any ideas?

$ sudo /usr/sbin/virt-install --name freserver --ram 256 --file
/storage/zen/freserver.img --location
/storage/rhel-5.1-server-i386-dvd.iso
