Hi,

I use Xen 3.1 under Ubuntu feitsy
I've build a Debian etch domU using xen-tools

If I install udev inside the domU, it's network interface is doesn't
detected anymore ????
It's very strange ... If I remove it all works fine ...

Any ideas ?

Udev on debian uses persistent names for ethernet interfaces. Your original device could have been moved to eth1, eth2 or eth3.

Solution:

rm -f /etc/udev/rules.d/z25-persistent-net.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/z45_persistent-net-generator.rules

Regards,
Bjoern
