I tried to build xen from source. After
#make world
the process stops
after a while for some errors:
cc1: error: invalid option
`tune=generic'
cc1: error: unrecognized option `-fstack-protector'
cc1:
error: invalid parameter `ssp-buffer-size'
error: command 'gcc' failed
with exit status 1
make[3]: *** [build] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving
directory `/usr/src/xen-3.0.4_1-src/tools/python'
make[2]: ***
[install] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/xen-3.0.4_1-
src/tools'
make[1]: *** [install-tools] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving
directory `/usr/src/xen-3.0.4_1-src'
make: *** [world] Error 2

my gcc
is up to date. I gave yum install gcc before running installation of
xen.
what kind of error is this?
