The images are fully virtualized.
An update is not possible, cause now i use FC6 i386, and i have to install "centos5 with 64 Bit support" (could this change from i386 to 64Bit support be also a problem for the images to start?)... i made already a backup of /etc/xen/* and for the images. do i need to attend something else?
Switching from 32-bit to 64-bit "en vivo" this way is begging for pain. Backing up your images and Xen setup is *good*. I've seen reports of people running 32-bit VM's successfully on 64-bit OS's, but I've personally had serious trouble with running non-rebuilt apps from 32-bit environments in a 64-bit environment. (Wacom devices, in particular.)

Why do you have to update your server to 64-bit but not your VM's?
