Re: [Xen-users] HVM floppy not working
|
I got it working... the proper thing to do appears to be to add
fda='/var/tmp/disk_dev.img'
in your xm config file. you can leave the :floppy bit out of the disk=
line altogether.
this is xen 3.0.4_1

I can boot off a cdrom, but if I try to load a cdrom and a floppy, I get
the cdrom, but no floppy. (I'm using a systemimager setup that boots off
the cdrom, then reads configs off the floppy. It boots okay, but it
doesn't see the floppy.)
disk = [
'file:/var/tmp/jj2.iso,hdb:cdrom,w',
'file:/var/tmp/disk_dev.img,fd0:floppy,w',
'phy:/dev/sda5,hda,w']
boot="d"
Is there something obviously wrong with how I specify the floppy? does
anyone else use the floppy drive?
Thanks!
