Hello everybody.
I'm using Xen to consolidate all my home PCs and servers.

The hardware is: CPU: Intel E6600; MB Asus P5B-D; GPU Ati XT1600; an old
Lifeview 98 television card.

The OS is Debian Etch-amd64 with the default xen kernel
2.6.18-3-xen-amd64 and the default userspace utils.

I created 2 domains for mythtv (www.mythtv.org), one for the backend
with the acquisition card and one for the frontend with the video card
and the integrated audio. Obviously I hid the devices from domain0 and I
assigned them to the respective DomU.

The acquisition card in the mythtv-be works perfectly.
The problem is with the video Card on the mythtv-fe domain.

The absence of Virtual Terminals doesn't allow me to start X in the DomU
although the video card is correctly recognized. Unfortunately the use
of VNC or the use of the video card on Dom0 is not a solution for me.

I searched for info in the archives but I didn't find any suggestion on
how to make my config work. Does someone know how to get rid of this error?
