I appologize if this has been discussed to death. I have done a lot of
searching on this issue.

I am running Debian etch with the Debian version of Xen and it's supporting
tools. I have followed several different methods of creating the guest. All end
up with the same results.

Config:
kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-3-xen-686"
ramdisk = "/boot/initrd.img-2.6.18-3-xen-686"
memory = 128
name = "invid"
#vif = ['bridge=xenbr0']
disk =
['tap:aio:/data/vps/invid/invid-root.img,sda1,w','tap:aio:/data/vps/invid/invid-swap.img,sda2,w']
root = "/dev/sda1 ro"
extra = '4'

Boot results:
--snip--

Begin: Waiting for root file system... ...
Done.
        Check root= bootarg cat /proc/cmdline
        or missing modules, devices: cat /proc/modules ls /dev
ALERT! /dev/sda1 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-3) Built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
(initramfs)

--snip--

Any help is welcome.
Bjorn
