I actually fixed it as well with the newest firmware from IBM, and modifying the instructions in the Dell document slightly.  (used xdiag instead of uxdiag, removed the –t argument which it didn’t like)

Actually, I fixed it.  I'm using a dell 1950 with a broadcom card.  It required a firmware update found on this wiki http://mywiki.ncsa.uiuc.edu/wiki/Dell_PE1950_NIC_Firmware_Workaround after that everything worked fine!  Only took me a week to figure it out.

Yeah, it sounds like iptables. Turn it off temporarily and see if Dom0
can reach out.
