Hello,
Let me begin by apologizing if I am posting to the wrong list.
I have 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen running as dom0. I am trying to run
2.6.9-42.27.ELxenU as a vm. Following is the xen configuration for the VM:
# cat /etc/xen/sand-box1
name = "sand-box1"
memory = "512"
disk = [
'tap:aio:/vm/redhat/linux/as/4/u3/x86_64/sandbox/sb1.img,xvda,w', ]
root = "/dev/xvda3 ro"
vif = [ 'mac=00:16:3e:45:c5:82, bridge=xenbr0', ]
nographic=1
uuid = "77b6fda0-7e0c-fd3a-0943-400a40a0b3e7"
bootloader="/usr/bin/pygrub"
vcpus=2
on_reboot = 'restart'
on_crash = 'restart'
Following is the partition table on the virtual disk:
# fdisk -l /vm/redhat/linux/as/4/u3/x86_64/sandbox/sb1.img
last_lba(): I don't know how to handle files with mode 81a4
You must set cylinders.
You can do this from the extra functions menu.

When I try to boot the vm I get the following:
# xm create -c sand-box1
Using config file "sand-box1".
