Hello,

i have been using xen 3.0 for some time now and with no problems. Now that i had to set up a new machine i tried out 3.0.2. Once i noticed that there are no longer different kernels for dom0 and domU, everything worked out fine until I booted the first vm.
Now i have some strange issues, namely:

1. On every boot there is a long list of error messages, eg these:

   8250: Unknown symbol uart_get_baud_rate
   8250: Unknown symbol uart_resume_port
   ...
   8250: Unknown symbol uart_write_wakeup
   modprobe: FATAL: Error inserting 8250
   (/lib/modules/2.6.16-xen/kernel/drivers/serial/8250.ko): Unknown
symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

2. Once booted, the network does not work and eth0 is not available.

3. Whenever i reboot or destroy the vm, on the next boot i get:

/dev/sda1 was not cleanly unmounted, check forced.
   /dev/sda1: ***** REBOOT LINUX *****
   /dev/sda1: 26210/512000 files (1.0% non-contiguous), 129316/1024000
   blocks

fsck corrected errors on the root partition, but requested that
the system be rebooted (exit code 3).

   Automatic reboot in 5 seconds.

My guess is that most of theses errors are, because the howto (http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_xen3_debian) and configs I use are for older versions of xen. Is there a list of what has changed with the latest version with respect to install and vm configs?

Thanks,
Patrick
