Maybe the OP was looking for something that would not necessitate the
expansion of the filesystem (always a scary, hope my backups work moment
imho), after editing the LVM for that particular DomU??  If so, the only
thing that I know of, that has that kind of functionality would be Suns ZFS
on Solaris/OpenSolaris. Very cool and has some great features, but not sure
if it is anywhere near ready on Linux as of yet.
