We have a setup where we have a couple of users (2-4) in a confined
space, operating a number of servers in a blade setup using a KVM/IP,
and need to add a few servers, but can't add hardware (space/weight
issues), so we're investigating using virtualization. VMWare mostly
works, but it would be a much better setup for the users, workflow and
training wise, if they were able to access the virtual machines as
well via the KVM, which is not possible with VMWare. I was checking
out http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/CoolConfigurations and in the B
Kuhn setup it appears that he is able to have multiple independent
inputs, which is what we would need.

I've never used Xen before, so before I invest much time in it, I
wanted to get input as to whether this is feasible, whether with Xen
or XenEnterprise:

PC with 2 video cards, 2 mice, 2 keyboards (1 each, USB and PS2). The
user sitting in front of the machine would use the USB input devices
and a monitor connected to one of the video cards, running the host
operating system, and other users (or even the same user) could
connect to the virtual system via the KVM, with the virtual system
sending its video to the 2nd video card and taking input from the PS2
controls.

This all sounds a bit pie in the sky, but if you have any input it
would be appreciated.
