[Xen-users] Kernel 2.6.15.4 and Xen
|
How do I compile a 2.6.15.4 kernel in a Xen-friendly way?
From the FAQ at xensource.com:
5.1. How do I configure a Linux domain 0 kernel for my hardware?
You should be able to edit the .config file and then just type make
at the top level. For example, to use Linux's graphical config editor:
        # cd linux-2.6.9-xen0
        # make ARCH=xen xconfig (configure however you want)
        # cd ..
        # make
When I try similar:
        dom0a:~# cd /usr/src/linux-2.6.15.4
        dom0a:/usr/src/linux-2.6.15.4# make ARCH=xen menuconfig
Makefile:449: /usr/src/linux-2.6.15.4/arch/xen/Makefile: No such
file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `/usr/src/linux-2.6.15.4/arch/xen/
Makefile'. Stop.
        dom0a:/usr/src/linux-2.6.15.4#
Thanks,
Mark.
