This seems to do it:
#define IA64_PSR_BE_BIT 1
#define IA64_PSR_BE ((1) << IA64_PSR_BE_BIT)
#define ia64_sum(mask) asm volatile ("sum %0":: "i"((mask)) : "memory")
int main(void)
{
ia64_sum(IA64_PSR_BE);
while (1);
}
Compile with 'gcc -o test test.c'. I confirmed that this runs on a bare
metal kernel, but crashes under Xen. Thanks,
