I don't know enough about this acm stuff. But what I see in the source is,
that only one acm command is supported on ia64 -
#define ACMOP_getssid 4
This seems to be called from the low level python code.
So it seems something with your installed/running software doesn't fit
together (see the strange xend/xm behaviour too).
