Subject: [Xen-users] powernow-k8: Processor cpuid 681 not supported

I am running 2.6.18-1.2693.fc6xen and I am receiving this message

powernow-k8: Processor cpuid 681 not supported

anyone know if xen works on

processor       : 0
vendor_id       : AuthenticAMD
cpu family      : 6
model           : 8
model name      : AMD Athlon(tm) Prosussor

Not a K8 (Athlon64/Opteron/Turion) processor, is it?

So you need Powernow-k7 to work with this processor - don't know if there is one available for Xen.

But Xen itself should work just fine on a regular K7/Athlon/Duron processor with no ill effects - although I haven't tried it. It works on a P3 processor, so I don't really see why it should make a difference.

?

Also I am receiving a kernel-bug message When I try to create a domU

This is more worrying - is this in Dom0 or DomU? None of it seems to relate to Xen. I'm not on the latest Xen, but I can't find a lockdep.c in my source, which build of Xen are you using?
