Thread-topic: Weekly test report on VT machine

We can start domU but failed to start 32-bit VMX-Domain. After adding Arun’s  vmx-device-models-py.patch, we can start 32 bit VMX Domain. Two testcases (fork05 and shmt02) still crashed in mini-ltp test.

We are tracing the unstable version of bk tree by testing it on VT machines. We try to start 32-bit VMX domain on 32-bit VT and do basic tests by weekly.

Latest update: 06/13/2005

Building Environment:

Based on Fedora Core 3

Xen bk tree changeset 1.1712

md5key of the changeset 1.1712 (42a9e462KdLcahjgT2sxM21td5eB7Q)

mini-LTP including quickhit sched commands ipc mm nptl pty dio fs

Vmmassist are used as realmode emulator for VMX

All tests run with with tls.disabled

Intel em64T 3GHz with HT enabled in BIOS

2GB of memory for host machine

128 MB of memory for Xen0 without SMP support

128 MB of memory for VMX Domain(RHEL3U3)

Test Result:

Success to start 32-bit Xen0 with nosmp.

Success to start and destroy domU(ttylinux4.2).

Failed to start and destroy 32-bit VMX Domain.

With Arun’s patch, we can success to start VMX Domain and test mini-ltp. Failed to pass all mini-ltp testcases.

Fork05 and shmt02 testcase crashed whole system.

Other details are available upon request.
