I know this is an old longstanding bug now, but I just wanted to let you know
that I submitted a patch to replace python-xml/pyxml based validation with lxml
based code.

I sent the patch to xen-devel and also submitted it to the Debian bug tracker
at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=599520.

I guess my patch pretty much fixes this bug, so we can finally close this bug
report and have a fully working xen package in both Debian squeeze and sid as
well as in more recent Ubuntu versions.
