[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1327] New: Windows 2003 HVM DomU and vcpus	problem/misun
| http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1327
Summary: Windows 2003 HVM DomU and vcpus
                    problem/misunderstanding...
           Product: Xen
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HVM
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: adorca@xxxxxx
Whenever I set vcpus > 1 on an HVM DomU and start it, xm list will always show
VCPUS = 1 but xm top will show the proper value set on the config file.
Nevertheless xm top, when pressing V for VCPUS will only show 1 vcpus for the
HVM client.
When accessing the HVM DomU it seems apparent that only 1 VCPU has been
allocated. I've been unable, so far to allocate more than 1 CPU to an HVM DomU.
This has happened to me in the following environments:
Always running a compiled version of Xen 3.2.1 on a Dell PowerEdge III with 2
Quad Xeon Processors / 4Gb RAM running Debian Etch x86_64 as Dom0 and an HVM
Windows Server Enterprise 2003 DomU.
Thanks.
