[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1105] New: stdvga=1 option appears to not work	correctly
| http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1105
Summary: stdvga=1 option appears to not work correctly
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: x86
        OS/Version: Linux-2.4
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HVM
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: xensource@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
When running WinXP Home Edition under HVM with stdvga=1, the guest OS sees a
graphics card that's limited to only 640x480 with 4-bit color. But according
to the Qemu documentation, the std_vga option should give a wide variety of
resolution and color definition choices. (I assume that Qemu's std_vga option
is the same thin as Xen's stdvga=1 option, right?)
By the way, this is on Xen 3.1.0, but I coundn't find an option for that in the
bugzilla version drop-down box.
