[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1063] New: CentOS Xen fails to create VM using Elastix
http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1063
Summary: CentOS Xen fails to create VM using Elastix
Product: Xen
Version: 3.0.3
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux-2.6
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: Tools
AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: support@xxxxxxxxxxxx
I tried to install elastix 0.8.5 on Cent OS 5 using the Virtualization
installed with Cent OS 5 (which I think is 3.0.3).
The instructions I followed are here:
http://www.elastix.org/component/option,com_openwiki/Itemid,27/id,virtualization_support_en/lang,en/
When it gets to within about 4 packages of installing elastix in a new VM, it
crashes with these errors:
Here are some log messages:
[2007-09-11 14:24:00 xend 2810] INFO (XendDomain:370) Domain EstesHome (2)
unpaused.
[2007-09-11 14:51:02 xend.XendDomainInfo 2810] WARNING (XendDomainInfo:882)
Domain has crashed: name=EstesHome id=2.
[2007-09-11 14:51:02 xend.XendDomainInfo 2810] DEBUG (XendDomainInfo:1463)
XendDomainInfo.destroy: domid=2
[2007-09-11 14:51:02 xend.XendDomainInfo 2810] DEBUG (XendDomainInfo:1471)
XendDomainInfo.destroyDomain(2)
Does anyone have any ideas for me? This machine is a Cent OS with all current
updates, Virtualization installed, P4 with 1GB RAM, etc. The settings for the
VM I tried were 384K of RAM, 500 Meg of RAM, etc and still got the crash using
these defaults and the ks_xen.cfg kickstart file using the elastix 0.8.5 ISO
image.
Thanks!
