[Xen-bugs] [Bug 980] New: MMIO map for IA64 needs to grow	significantly,
| http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=980
Summary: MMIO map for IA64 needs to grow significantly, or should
                    be dynamic
           Product: Xen
           Version: 3.0.3
          Platform: IA64
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Hypervisor
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: glen.foster@xxxxxx
Alex Williamson asked me to forward this report. I'm running on a large
cellular-based IA64 Superdome server with the RHEL5 bits, but Alex believes
this is a problem in the upstream code, too.
Basic issue is that the hardware I'm using has a memory map larger than the
64-entry table used by the Hypervisor. Really large iron will be "too large"
for the Hypervisor to handle unless this table is dynamic or severly increased.
I will post the output of "memmap" (at the EFI shell) on this large system
next.
