[Xen-bugs] [Bug 431] New: Starting Xen disconnects machine from	network
| http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=431
Summary: Starting Xen disconnects machine from network
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: x86
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: Hypervisor
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: jacquesb@xxxxxxxxx
Starting Xen disconnects the machine from the network.
Running Debian Sarge. Build from source downloaded today (xen-3.0.0-src.tgz).
I've built it using XEN_TARGET_X86_PAE=y, which does then give me the RAM I
have.
As soon as I do '/etc/init.d/xend start', I lose all network connectivity to and
from the machine.
eth0 is still alive, and can ping itself, but nothing else.
eth0 is a Broadcom BCM5721 using tg3
Reproducable on Ubuntu 5.10 64bit installation using the same hardware,
compiling Xen for 64-Xeon.
