Problem:
    HTTP server currently implemented in Xend does no do any sort of error
checking and results in random HTTP server failures. 

Possible Soultion: 
   Given the HTTP servers implementation & failure to check for errors it should
be removed in favor of the builtin Python SimpleHTTPServer class.
