Hi everyone,
which includes the XEN tree within the standard Linux tree.
For the time being, no XEN hypervisor functions have been enabled. The initial port comes from George Davis (MontaVista)
and we solved all conflicts regarding data structures and functions between Linux and XEN.
Now, we are refining the strategy for porting the major parts (memory manager, IRQs and timer) by considering the different
sources we have, including the source code from Samsung (xen-arm project). We will be gradually enabling each functionality step
by step and report our progress. In parallel, we will start the same exercise on the i.MX31 platform.
For recall, the combination of Linux and XEN within a same source tree was aimed at taking benefit from immediate access to
the native Linux structures and functions in order to ease the port of domains 0 and U, including bootstrap codes for the specific
platforms (PXA270/colibri and Phytec i.MX31 platforms).
Please feel free to download and extend the code, make proposals and so forth, on your own board.
Daniel
